kiran & sam

There's something to be said about starting a shoot with "are you guys cool to walk?" Then an hour later you end up at your destination after scaling steep terrain, encountering rogue trains and walking in the wrong direction. And this was all done in dress shoes. But there's no one else I'd rather do this with than Kiran and Sam. It comes as no surprise that Kiran (a classmate of mine) proposed to the coolest and sweetest person, Sam. Our adventure to Dundas Peak was peppered with tourists but we made it work and had a blast in the mean time. We finished the day at McMaster University, where I am an alumni but Kiran and Sam are surprisingly not.

Thanks so much Kiran and Sam for letting me photograph your love. I wish you all the best on your wedding day! Can't wait to see all the photos (and snaps)! Below are a few highlights from the day - it was hard choosing a few from so many great ones.

andy & may

I had the awesome opportunity to photograph on my favorite people and her best friend in High Park. While the cherry blossoms weren't out, there was one magnolia tree that everyone in the city was crowding around. Needless to say, it was a bit of a wait and fight for the only piece of non-green flora.

kaitlyn and krista get married

There is nothing better than meeting awesome people through unconventional means. I came to meet Kaitlyn and Krista by responding to a Facebook post made on my alumni's photography page. They were looking for an up-and-coming wedding photographer and I jumped at the chance. Not only are they the sweetest people ever, they made sure that I had a blast while working. They let me photograph one of their biggest days and most intimate moments. While we made jokes about how we took so many photos at every nook and cranny at Dundurn Castle; it was a blast working with a bridal party that knew what they wanted and were up for any crazy shenanigans. Not even the heat could have dampened our moods.

Kaitlyn and Krista, I wish you all the best! I seriously could not have asked for a better couple to both meet and photograph.

Venue: Dundurn Castle and Boston Pizza
