colour me rad

From Colour Me Rad back last year in October in Hamilton. Despite the overcast and rainy weather, it was so fun and something I'd definitely do again!

Word of advice: don't smile too hard as you go through the powder ;)

julie

This past, long and dreary winter I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph one of my favorite people, Julie. I met Julie about two summers ago when we both worked at the same summer camp. She was then and still is now a great supporter of my pursuit into photography and constantly challenges me to be better. She basically held my hand when I completed my FASHION Magazine internship application and I couldn't have had a better rock. It's always important to fill your life with people who push and challenge you and I'm happy Julie is one of them :) Thanks for being a fantabulous model ;)

I love when I am able to collaborate with other amazing artists because there's always an influx of ideas waiting to be tried out. When I had the opportunity to work with Chelsea, a dancer, who contacted me way back in Winter with an idea to do a dance photo shoot, I agreed without hesitation. I've always been eager to work with dancers after being inspired by such fantastic images produced by "The Ballerina Project," Bertil Nilsson and Wyn Wiley. So with the opportunity in front of me and a head full of ideas, we went ahead with the shoot in Spring and such images resulted.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to collaborate with many more dancers as it's definitely something I'd love to continue to pursue. Feedback is always welcome and appreciated!
